A true taste of the Mediterranean in Twain Harte......

The "Villa", as it is known to locals, has been serving outstanding food in a romantic casual atmosphere for over 30 years.

The Villa D'oro Restaurant is owned and operated by Valerie & Brian Offi.  We  wanted to create a place where locals and tourists alike could feel comfortable in jeans as well as a tuxedo.  A place where you feel you had been before, like coming home to family, good friends or perhaps recreating an experience from a little Trattoria in Italy, Greece or France.  We strive to keep that feeling alive in our beautiful little mountain town of Twain Harte through our hospitality, our cuisine and a beautiful atmosphere.

We feature a Mediterranean Seasonal Menu which uses the freshest of seasonal ingredients, including Seafood, Organic Produce and Choice Meats as well as quality wines. We promote the Mediterranean diet; not only because of its incredible foods and flavors enhanced by the  creative use of seasonal fresh ingredients, but also due to the health benefits of this type of dining.

The Piazza or patio has a wood fired pizza oven from Italy. In the warmer months, this becomes the most popular place in Twain Harte.  It’s a truly special place for Weddings, Rehearsals, Birthdays, or any special event; or just a place to meet friends and enjoy a pizza and a glass of wine.

Beginning in the Spring and continuing into the Fall, the town is fragrant with the aroma of almond wood from our outdoor oven wafting through the air.  Fragrances of wood fired pizza, roasted meats, grilled fish and succulent vegetables. The Patio fills with people as you enjoy the cuisine under the beautiful tall trees of Twain Harte, sometimes listening to the sounds of an acoustic guitar playing softly in the background and while the winds whispering in the pines brush your face.

We are very proud to have the opportunity to be a favorite place to dine for locals and visitors alike.  We want to thank all of our patrons.  Our excellent staff stands ready to serve your dining needs so just ask.

The Patio is also available for large parties and special events as is our lounge which features a full bar, large screen HDTV and live music on certain weekends. We also offer catering for your special occasions.
